Teriyaki Marinade Mackerel Fillets
  • 8 Mackerel fillets

    Teriyaki marinade

    1½ dl soya sauce
    1½ dl dry sherry
    1 ts sugar
    1 crushed garlic
    1 tsp finely chopped ginger

Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and heat for 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
Brush both sides of the fillets a few times with the marinade. Grill or fry them without oil for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Serve freshly grilled with the remaining marinade on the side.
Good with salad and Jasmine rice.
Tip:  As an alternative to making your own blend, Teriyaki marinade is also available at grocery stores.
